Teach the World to Smile

Teach The World to SmileCan you teach the world to smile, and send away our fears? There are so many people living with so many tears. Can you stop the wars the rage, and bring our soldiers home? Please touch the hearts of evil men, who through the world do roam? And stop the World from breaking up, destruction everywhere,And hear the ones who plead with you in often silent prayer.Keep the storms that gather here, within your tightest hold,And bless the little children, as disasters here unfold. When you stop to center on the sin that’s gathered here,Please bless those who need thee, to feel thy closeness near.IlaMae Stucki © 4/6/2010Place within the hearts of men, a sense of their real worth,While giving them the love they need, to calm this troubled earth.

I am a Registered Nurse.. I have loved writing for as far back as I can remember. My first writing was experienced by drawing as a child. In 7th grade I wrote a poem about Abraham Lincoln that won an award and was read on the radio in Salt Lake City....
