TEARS OF LOVE

....Don't start unless you are ready to finish it.... .....Don't read unless you are ready to cry.......... I'm tired of this life! I'm tired of this world! Spent all my time Searching for a lover Spent all my time Searching for love But what did I find? I looked up there Above the clouds I looked down here Beneath the seas But all my efforts Vanish in vain I just can't tell If I'll ever find And so they came Claiming to love So many came Offering their love Smiles so sweet Watery lips Who could resist? All they brought He loves me! Yes I know But how far? Can his love go He needs me! Yes I know But how long? Will that need remain Will he be there? To hold me tight In arms Full of kindness Will he be there? To carry me up When all my strength Is gone and drained When sickness strikes And pain assails Will he be there? To comfort me When tensions rise And doubts prevail Will he be there? To calm my fears Will he be there? To walk with me Side by side Every second of the day Will he be there? To chat with me Cooling my worries And anxieties so great Will he be there? When hunger strikes To feed my tummy With milk and honey Will he be there? To feed my soul With joy, laughter And happiness so true He loves me! Yes I know But how far? Can his love go He needs me! Yes I know But how long? Will that need remain Will he still stand? To tolerate me When my passions go high And sin caves in Will he forgive? And forget my faults No matter how great The pain it costs Will he be there? To speak for me Or take my place In the prison cell Will he still stand by me? Till the point of execution When the soldiers aim To shoot me down But He loves me! Yes I know Then how far? Can his love go But He needs me! Yes I know Then how long? Will that need remain ...................... And for many years I lived my life Searching for a lover Out of the millions For many years I lived my life Searching for a lover To call my own For many years I lived my life Playing with sin and killing my Soul And all the while, my lover was there Waiting for me to gain sight of Him OH NO! I have lived a life of sin In this world I’m living in I’ve done forbidden things I never thought I’d do I ask a beggar along the way If he could tell me where to stay Where I could find real happiness And love that is true "Across the bridge", He told me There’s no more sorrow. "Across the bridge", He said, There’s no more pain The sun will shine Accross the river And you’ll never see The face of sadness And so I wonder "What bridge?" "What bridge?" And so I ponder "What river?" " What river?" "Across the bridge", he said You’ll find your lover "Across the river", he said You’ll see your love. Crowned with worries I kept on threading Along the bridge Of fear and doubt Along the river Of sin and misery I kept on swimming Seeking for my love .................. But finally, I crossed that river When finally, I crossed that bridge I found a lover, gentle and kind I found a lover, true and faithful But all these years I did not know That he was there Staring at me All these years I did not know That he was there Waiting for me. All these years I did not know His love so true Until I heard How on the cross He had died for me I trusted him And he rescued me And since that day Ever till now He's always journeyed By my side True is his love This I know For that BIBLE Tells me so. Before time began He loved me Till the end of time He will still love me. Never! Never! Will He abandon me Never! Never! Will he forsake me For even in my worries With my many faults and sins I know He still loves me. He loves me, Just the way I am Much deeper To let me die in sin His love for me, Far beyond measure Outscores mummy’s love A thousand times Think of all, He gave to me Think of all, He did for me He gave me life when I was dead He gave me hope when all was gone And so for a moment I think and ask Between the Lover Boy and the Loving Jesus Which one do I claim as my lover? Which one do I call my lover so true? One whose love will go so far One whose love will break all boundaries One whose love will know no limits One whose love will carry me home JESUS! YOU ARE THE ONE I LOVE
