Lies ooze from between The cracks of your teeth Birthing the offspring of which You love and nourish to perfection And like a mother on heroin You train them to claw and tear At the royal chambers of My dignity and integrity Charring them with a firesong Of a pretentious backstabber Who feeds relentlessly on fear And lusts passionately for revenge From a dead end corner You watch me bleed To the massacres Erupting from the core Of the futile weapons Within the threat Of your possession For every bullet ejected A shadow of your own fear Is cast upon the victims Of which you endanger Like an airborne epidemic on a mission To make prey out of future targets Yet without a care you talk and write Your snide bullshit from behind steel barriers Of anger and misconception When really you are the lie Promoting the anger that Distributes an adrenaline rush Identified as a vile threat To the face of humanity By Glenn McCrary © 2011 (All rights reserved)
