Tender sugar.
Such a story of color, With lies as bountiful as hues of red In the drops of your blood On the thirsty ground. How my heart danced In the many notes you sang As the tale took root Making me believe again. Overdose of delusion Fed into my veins, Like a hungry addict I ignored danger and ate. Then the Ichor was pulled away, Gone like tender sugar crystals Melting in the angry sea, But never again shall you betray. Your lying light was snuffed, This room now confines me.
