Thankful

We gather together for an innumerable pleasure Of a company that reflects our economy Of every relation—a cherished summation Giving reason, for reason why we yet exist Our children—frustrations’ Our enemy tensions Our likes and dislikes. That we bent our will to congregate the spirit of giving residing within! And in this assembly, our sweet Holy family That musters the seed of our love We give thanks for receiving. From that Benevolent being; The Hand that has written our lives. Hence, sojourned upon this day That neither friend nor foe can say that he was not sustained today. And carried through on troubled waters Then come to shore, to kiss the sand. We give thanks, for immense charity And for the clarity our feast must bring. For every wave of our creation that draws us closer to salvation We are Thankful!!
