Oh Lord, today I feel so high Thank you for bringing me to life, For months I’ve sat with a heavy soul Now living life has become my goal. Your wonderful world is an astounding place And it moves with such alarming pace, I’m ready to be swept away in your stream And awaken myself from this dream. I want to go everywhere and see everything I want to experience your love, I want to sing! Everybody needs to know how good I feel For now I know a happiness that is real. I wish everyone could feel this way Now that I no longer dread the day, And, oh Lord, as I close my eyes, I thank you so much for bringing me to life.
