that is my religion
When I roll on the floor, with uncontrolled fits of laughter; tears out my eyes, ...that is my religion. When I stroke him nice, and he cries for more; 'please baby touch me there', ...that is my religion. When I grind that burden mill, heavy on my shoulders, cos those bills are due, ...that is my religion. When I puff on that herb, my mind connects to the universe; everybody feels me, ...that is my religion. When I share all my love, friends just take advantage, thinking that I'm blindly stupid, ...that is my religion. When I give thanks to dine on the love she daily provides; knowing well others starve, ...that is my religion. When my mom's scent's in the air,in my heart; even though she's passed on, her voice and smile linger on my mind, ...that is my religion. When my canine comforts me, cos that dog just left this, his paw on my lap and eyes that trully understand, ...that is my religion. When I stand in front of y'all, to be judged and ridiculed. I've come to know the heat, but bigger balls I need. ...THAT is my religion. Copyright © 15 Mar 2005, All rights reserved
