The Apologetic Letter, Vol 1

It’s time for us to take responsibility for the fate of humanity and build on the foundations of peace love and equity. Though we’re diverse we’re all one. Different colors and cultures, different tongues, but the same song. Peace is what we all crave, to love and be loved, though we’re free but we’re still slaves. Slaves of our own ways, quarrelling and fighting on the way to our own graves. It’s sick to see the way we’re living today, People fighting people, people putting people away, hey! Take my hand let’s reason if we can, Disunited we remain? It’s impossible we stand. As one people, one love, flesh and blood, Black and white, rich and poor, under one God. In Africa the governments sacrifice the masses on the altar of greed and corrupt practice. In Europe, America it’s all the same, injustice and malpractice with a different name. I hope the world heeds my poetry, cos if I hurt you I hurt me, But we’re too blind to see. We need hope, hope for the future but who can give us? We need truth, a new way of living but who can teach us? We need messiah and we found Him in Jesus. I hope and I pray that all people believe us.
