**The Ballad of the Silent Song** The music swells, a waltz of bittersweet, As I observe them, graceful, light of feet. She moves with him, a vision, radiant, fair, And in her eyes, a joy I cannot share. I knew this day would come, a distant drum, A fading echo, whispers yet to numb.
