The Blessing Child

The Blessing Child Your Mother loved you more than life, to carry you through pain and strife. Her heart knew right...her will was strong Toadd you to anothers song. Forever parents, stood close by. A miracle brought tear to eye. They'd waited long to see your face They thanked their God for loving grace. With tender hearts they held you close; your ten small fingers, ten small toes. Afuzzy head of red-blond hair And eyes so blue, none could compare. So soft and small, so hushed in sleep Not knowing of this grandestleap. No screaming cries,no wanting squeal And yetyour presence strong and real. Live strong and bright; live brave and true, And know that God is therefor you. Just hold his hand with valient might And let your light shine bold and bright. For my new little adopted grandson, born June 1, 2011 IlaMae (Ike) Stucki (c) 7/18/2011

I am a Registered Nurse.. I have loved writing for as far back as I can remember. My first writing was experienced by drawing as a child. In 7th grade I wrote a poem about Abraham Lincoln that won an award and was read on the radio in Salt Lake City....
