The Boxer
He dedicates his life to the sport Working diligently to be the best Push-ups, sit-ups, running and lifting With very limited time to rest. He spars everyday to refine his skills Punching the bag with all his might, Shadow boxing til way after dark As he gets ready for the next fight. His body is sculpted and ripped There's nothing stopping him now He is ready to meet his next rival And anxious to take his victory bow. The life of a boxer is a difficult task It takes a special person and Camp There are many sacrifices he makes To become the next world Champ! This poem is for my nephews, Juan Garcia and Giancarlo Rodriguez who have dedicated their lives to boxing at an early age. Their ultimate goal is to become World Champs. I pray that God blesses them in their endeavor.
