The Breath

·Vagabond

The Breath An involuntary contraction, Of muscles without thought. So unnoticed, Yet so necessary. The air enters, expanding my lungs Revitalizing my body, While exchanging the good For the bad. Quickly the oxygen rushes, Along the roads and highways of my veins... Bringing life and passion To every cell of my being. An expulsion of waste, In expungement of poison, As the carbon dioxide is gone, Not able to harm me now. This is my love for you. Every moment you are near me. It begins with an intake of love, Making my body live anew. The cleansing power Of your presence Exchanges the bad within me For all that is good. The love courses through me, Filling every fiber of my being With vitality and passion, And I feel it bringing me to life again. My body exchanges all That is good and right And begins to purge Sadness, loneliness, anger, fear. My heart and soul exhale, My eyes lock on yours And I begin to release All the bad within me. And I can't wait To breathe you in again. Yes my love, I need you. You alone keep me alive. I hold you. I love you. And all I can ask is, Are you breathing too?

Vagabond

Not much to tell, but I am me...purely, unapologetically me. I value honesty and reality in people, and have no time for followers or pretenders. Each person is unique and valuable in their own way, and to minimize that by attempting to be someone...
