THE BRITISH WEATHER
In autumn or a wintery day We wish for a hot summers sunshiney day We pull up our scarfs to hide from the windy showers Head down to face away from the coldness of the day The cold blustery wind sends shivers down your body all the way And yet again we wish for a hot summers day Then came an unusually hotter than normal spring In which we glorified and bathed in each and every day Now an unusually hot spring has turned into summer We are at the start of a heatwave People are now seeking the shade With warm torrential rain catches out people who wear shorts and t-shirts The memories of a cold winter have gone to fade O this is what is the British weather is notoriously made
