The Colour of Your Name

09 Mar 2006

You ushered within me a new end like one ushers in a new year. Your hair, the imperfect parting with it’s crooked smile. Your eyes, the dull shine that resonated through my own. Your laugh, The sound that could mend even broken glass. With memories long askew memories long misplaced, but not forgotten. I never talk about you, for fear you will fade with use. Where do I find those memories? Where do I find the bright colour of your name?
