The Contagious Summer

25 Feb 2011

·Boffin

It was a hot day where the summer teased the winter Snow white flowers bow to the south While birds fall in love with exuberant colours The tree's smell of fresh oranges And the warm ocean strokes the shore Where the edge of the sun kisses its salty tears Thats where we picked up shells As our footprints covered up the moons invitation We chased away the stars Days never ended while your eyes were open Through the seasons summer stained our hearts And as we made our bed in the grass Your heart became my pillow While I fed you the clouds I still keep your dreams stored in jam jars So that I can make them come true Fast becoming my lifes objective Strumming the colours on the rainbow Planting your heart next to mine And as it grows we lay under its shadow.
