The Corpse

You're like a corpse A darkened memory, haunting the very depths of my mind almost as easy as saying 'I'm home.' You brought along unwanted feelings A loss I cannot comprehend, but when daybreak you're nowhere to be found, and as vacant as you are I wonder just when did I notice. You're a memory I cannot grasp A thread that has been cut, to you who invaded my mind you're nothing more than a corpse, and I'm unable to figure you out.
