The Crisp Packet Orchestra
The percussion starts up slow and quiet. But quickly takes up pace, boldness rising With the teeth crunching down on potatoey snacks. The snivelling violins emerge As thin aluminium packets rustle. The brass storms into the fray As chocolate bars, Being broken into two and then three; Interweaving with the violin's melody. Finally the pianist takes her place, Capturing the audience in her web of melody. As a phone rings and echoes through the waiting room.
