The cure for loneliness

Dear fellow members, here's my poem as per Seuretski's challenge. I will appreciate critiques on it: I start my day with rusty eyes Lying cold in cuddly bed. Through drapes, the ray of sunlight spray Still paints our room in red. At night I lay, with hefty heart No flashbacks to caress. I search inside but cannot find The cure for loneliness. But every day’s eventful life Attracts me to its charms. And it helps me to turn my back On what has brought me harm. And as the life’s colors return, I’m free from emptiness. By optimism, I have found The cure for loneliness. ____________________________ Older Version ____________________________ A wakeup pray, I start my day alone in cuddly bed. Through pane, the ray of sunlight spray pass through drapes in red. It ends at night with hefty heart no flashbacks to caress I search my mind but cannot find the cure for loneliness
