The Curious Escape

What I would like To do one day Is to get on an airplane And escape far away From this place that they call America For I have always wondered What it's like outside the U.S.A. Sure enough I'll find out one day I would like to visit England, Uganda and Peru Ireland, Australia and Canada too Oh how it would be nice Just to get away And to arrive at the front doors To face better days So many people And so many things to do Maybe I could grab a bite to eat And maybe even start a conversation or two The people there Are so delightful and full of spirit And I just can't help myself I just want to be near it These are the people For whom I have respect and admiration I swear I could get lost in translation As I forever stare into their eyes out of adoration Walking by as an innocent pedestrian I have a ever burning desire to become a thespian But still I'm steady questioning Will I ever become a champion? I don't know I guess I lost my train of thought again I would most likely get inspired By anything that I see Because these things act so strange That it is amazingly unique And I don't want to close my eyes Just for a second to blink For I probably would have missed out On a thousand different visions in a heap Or at least I am under that belief But hopefully one day I will finally see What living outside of the U.S.A. really means
