The Dancing Girl
I’ve seen you dancing with tears in your eyes and lead in your heart. Dancing for life, love and attention. I’ve seen you dancing from the crowded floor, Where rainbows gently washed your face, We all adored you. I’ve seen you dancing so far above me, Your tilted head, your closed eyes, The same sad smile pasted on your face, Masking all your silent grief. You were so far above us all. But even with your unnatural beauty, no one listened when you cried.
