The Dark
I’m the deafening rush of pain clinging to life in the darkness The vast eternal darkness breathing shallow and cold I’m the blinding pain beating in the shell of your heart Pumping emptiness through the hollow veins in your body I’m the crushing pain living behind your sunken eyes Stealing the light that once existed in your fleeing soul I’m the roaring pain you feel in your lifeless limbs Destroying the sensations that once swelled in the hands I’m the deafening rush of pain clinging to life in the darkness The vast eternal darkness breathing shallow and cold Connor Smotzer
