The Demise of One: What Do You Go Home To?
So I’ll say my goodbye to you, The lonesome one, Never in a day’s work was your craze, Once remembered for what you were, Now forgotten for what you’ve become. What was once a catalyst of beauty, Is your own limitation now impossible to become undone, A connotation once so pure, Renovated into a hollow vice, Spiralling into orbit is your inflated value, Ask me this, what do you go home to? Now a tyrant living in a collapsed universe, Harrowing and ailing, Stubborn and uncaring, What do you go home to? Dialogue killer, incantation sinner What do you go home to? Institutionalised subconsciously, offers no maturity, What do you go home to?
