The Descent into Darkness (Original) You know it is slipping But you won't let it go Oh how to keep hold of What you need badly so? Before it's gone completely And utterly destroyed You crave what you had Can't control the huge void The betrayal, the lies; The callous disguise - Was it all but a mask Or a trick of the eyes? Unfixable, broken What do you do now? Youwant to emerge But just can't see how You crave the nothingess You just want to not feel So few understand They can't see the big deal The daylight is torture It is forever night A blanket of peace And an end to your plight.
