The Dream
Last night I could not sleep at all I dreamt I had not heeded my call. This dream I tried hard to shake off It pestered me like a nagging cough. I wanted to talk to the voices in my head But I wisely chose not to do that instead. I felt like people were just watching me An open book for all the world to see. You see the whole thing seem so true I guess I was just waiting for a cue But I never got the sign I waited for So, I went to sleep and my dream I ignored. There are things in life that you want to do But barriers always seem to deviate you. Whatever dreams you plan to accomplish Don't ever let anyone, your dream, demolish!
