the drum -

the manner in which to play a drum since before man could speak - or even cook his kills has been discussed, ad nauseam. as in any hunt, a timid approach is not advised - there is enough instinct left in the drum to sense this. you need to know "why" you are punching the skin and there is no time for epiphany in mid-fight. the drum is primal - wood, steel and skin. elements devised in primordial Mind. they gave with dignity and chase, - pounding and fire. the drum responds to these virtues - only.
