The Eye and The Flower
"For with much wisdom comes much sorrow the more knowledge, the more grief." Pain lies where beauty is But what is more real Than what you feel? Your natural affection Reflects in your Dharma Everyone finds it In the heart Of his art And while one may Shape the legs of wood Another sat there drawing up The schematic blue print thereof For on the one hand man Is passed the weight stone Of love on the one scale And the world on the other Once you find what is important to you No one in this world will be able To take it away from you This means that once found It is there for good And so When you forget yourself To merely stand within All of what you are sensing You will find the state to be something Trans-like Meditative Momentary and Fleeting Old cogs kick back into gear The machine starts turning One is made aware of sensation And it is because we are affective That we feel sorry for the moment To then say flower in my eye Your beauty is the fact that You are living But just like this moment must pass Including myself along with it We must sacrifice our life to pause To give thought to it To savour it For it passes quickly And the life of a flower is fast Shall me make a blood sacrifice Of young flowers in their prime To show to our young lovers What we have in mind Or shall we become embittered Sour and serious to the bone To argue like a child that mocks A heavy warrior coming back home And say "No Leave the little flower there The one you picked out in the field Let it die out there in the cold Alone." ?
