The Face of an Angel

The face of an angel has enraptured my thoughts, I can't hardly tell if I'm conscious or not, Her eyes are more green than the island of Ire, Her voice more sweet than the beautiful lyre, With hair of silk and smelling of pure love, And a soul as tender as the morning dove, Her smile could light the sky if given a chance, With dimples so lovely I need a second glance, Her skin is too soft for me to describe, Each touch makes me feel even more alive, Her laughter is the bell that tolls others to joy, With the spirit of one that is never coy, She'll think I'm insane if this is found, Which begs the question, "Why write this down?"
