No, the figtree hadn’t loved her only gave fruit after she had long gone No, don’t blame it on her tending! it had been careful and with love His exposition had been perfect, soil and humidity just right, her protection throughout the seasons, without a reason for any doubt! But the figtree hadn’t loved her or that is what she had come to expect Oh, ifonly shehad known that he was atree that thrives on neglect!
