The Forgotten Canvas
I look up at the sky and I see Deformed images made by the clouds Images of a land ravaged by a thousand Years of battles, images of rocky cliffs, Of tidal waves…, I know I am sounding a bit insane, but aren’t we sane enough to ignore that we cannot even borrow the time to explore the skies, that our daily mechanical chores are slowly leading us to the unfortunate evolution of Artificial existence? Every passing day we are becoming more Dependant of the technological materialistic world. The infinite vast canvas always smiles at us And sighs, saturation is bound to come, and there Will be a time again when the civilization will appreciate and Worship The universal canvas and look for unknown signs, for The clouds will always be there charming us with its intricate designs And Directing ourselves to a bigger cause.
