The Funeral
Hatred filled chants echo through trees of "sacred ground". Prayers, meant to bring solace, drown in the undertow of the self-righteous. The grieving congregation already brought to their knees, must now contend with the expulsion of venom on this most solemn day. A most indecent and inhumane endeavor in the name of their misguided fervor. Loving the attention received to further their agenda of hate and prejudice. Giving no thought to the pain of a family saying their last goodbye.
