The Garden

·Garble

And so I am reminded again about the greatness of the shadow. That which I once thought I knew so well, and have rejoiced at losing. Is brought back, with a tear for all that this life can make one feel. No longer just the folly of youth, but now also the burden of age. And the insight, that with the greatest of men can lie the strangest warping, is ungratefully accepted. The cursed shadow wears no darker veil, no greater tragedy than the withering of those with the loveliest petals.
