The Geneis Dreamer
The Genesis Dreamer The mind dreamed, it did not respond to external stimuli. There was no such stimulation, Nor need to react, for it controlled all inputs. There was nothing unless the mind first dreamed something And what ever it dreamed was and became itself. Sometimes the mind wondered if ittoo was a dream. Then it considered who might be dreaming it into being, So that it might begin to visualize another dreamer. Do I have a mind, it asked, must I have a mind to dream? It sought for some other mind that permitted it to dream, Trying to touch it with mental fingers but found no source. It wondered if it could dream another dreamer into being, Or if the whole reality that ever was began and ended with itself. But who dreamed the first dream? Surely dreams were not spawned by the ether! Maybe it dreamed, I was, am now andever will be. Then itvisualized a nothing that we call death. The last thought that itvaguely sensedas it faded away, Was that it was the original dream, but too late, Asthe universe slowly faded out of existence.
