The Great Christmas Tragedy
In a town out of the way Where people loved to celebrate There was a man on his own Who chose to be alone Moving into town one day Was a lonely young lady Being brave, starting a new life, She pushed away past mistakes, And strife, One day they met in a casual way She wanted to see him smile When he wouldn’t, she had to stay And keep trying for a while As she wished for her Hallmark love They walked under the stars above Weeks passed, she learned why He let relationships pass on by To him honesty was everything Everyone he had known had lied It hurt to much being the only one It seemed, who had even tried, She spoke to his only friend And found his story was true So she promised him not to lie And do all that she could do After beginning to believe He learned that she had deceived She said, “you’ll always be alone.” He said, “You’re right.” Then disappeared into the night She called his friend to help her search They found his body Christmas Day “We will reform.” They’d later say As he lie there in the church A year later standing at his stone, They told him how they had grown, He brought them together He saved their souls A happy ending to The great Christmas tragedy

Mental Journey
I am on a journey of the mind. Contemplating the universe on every scale, and doing a complete introspective exploration. I may never be a literary academic, but I share my humble thoughts in hope that they may inspire others.
