The Greatest Gift
The Greatest Gift Today I baked an apple pie And took it to my dearest friend. She had been ill and hurting, So to her needs I did attend. Her face lit up by shining eyes. She stood taller than before, Because I took a little time And stopped in at her door. Then, when I left her humble home, I know, I stood taller too. There is no other gift you give That comes right back to you. IlaMae Stucki (c) 11/20/12

I am a Registered Nurse.. I have loved writing for as far back as I can remember. My first writing was experienced by drawing as a child. In 7th grade I wrote a poem about Abraham Lincoln that won an award and was read on the radio in Salt Lake City....
