The Greatest Gift of All
The Greatest Gift of All I did not see the star that shone so brightly in the sky, Nor did I see the glory, of angels standing by. I did not see the shepherds come to worship the new king, I did not see the Wise Men, their honored gifts to bring. I was not there when Mary Dear, rode slowly into town. I wasn’t there when Joseph asked for lodging to lie down. I didn’t see the awful pain that Mary had to bear. I didn’t witness Joseph’s face, his awe as he did stare. But when I think of Christmas, I think of the small child, God sent to earth to save the world; so tender meek and mild. The bells that ring remind me of the angels clarion call. The gifts we give do represent, The greatest gift of all! IlaMae (Ike0 Stucki (c) 12/26/2011

I am a Registered Nurse.. I have loved writing for as far back as I can remember. My first writing was experienced by drawing as a child. In 7th grade I wrote a poem about Abraham Lincoln that won an award and was read on the radio in Salt Lake City....
