The Green Tears

Destroyed images, dressed in our words, collide with green tears of the innocent. Wounded names, locked in cold hands, do not concern our consciences, they do not promise a better past. Is what we call pain your reflection in my mirror? Is a breath of fear here to bring a stolen lie, duplicitous truth?
