the ignored
So many sad and lonely faces in our surroundings and many people without any sense of direction Some lack love and compassion from their family The poor don't have any place to lay their head. Many have been shunned by their own people They are dirty, hungry and homeless in the streets Everyone looks down on them and ignores them. They are always being treated like they don't exist No one wants another person to help or support We say, no one helped me while I struggled why should I give a portion of my earnings to them? Where was my help when I needed their assistance? We fail to understand that we were blessed, Even when we struggled someone was there for us Somebody never gave up on us and motivated us Even a word of advice was an encouragement to us But when we turn a blind eye to someone hurting All we are doing is making this world a dark place A place where we kick them when their down Instead of picking them up when they fall. Help them along the way so they can do better We hope, what they've learned; improves their life Then they can pay it forward as they get well. We pride ourselves in a world that knows God But we do not follow the example of our Christ Love and compassion was His theme for all of us So lets love and help our fellowman and neighbors.
