The Illusion
An illusion so bright, A magician performed all night. The connection was strong , What could possibly go wrong? Intelligent engaging tricks , Forgoing the foundation bricks. Built a house of cards , Walls of glittering shimmering shards. A king beckoned from inside , conjuring a love to come alive! The searching queen went in blind , The golden rule always on her Mind! magician played his final hand, shimmers turned to glistening sand . Poof went the king leaving his crown , shimmer continued to tear down.
