The Journey
The Journey I hear it rumble, I hear it wail as if from nowhere, I feel its' gale I hear it chatter, I see it near when from the depths two eyes appear. I see its' body, I see its' length steely grey, impenetrable strength. I watch its' fury, I smell its' sweat as each mouth opens, its' prey to get. I move to enter, with quickening pace, as those behind me begin their race. I see the winners, seize their seats within the belly of the beast. I feel the bodies, crowding in eager to experience its' sin. I hear the closure, the staggard start blood starts to pump from within its' heart ThenI wonder, what sense have I to choose to hide within this lie. With a panic, I find out what my life was all about. Too late now, the path is set with those around me caught in the net. The journey begun, choices made for lifes mistakes must now be paid. Shem
