The Life of the Amazon Rising rainbows of splendor From magical water below, Falling from high place to low place A breathtaking vision, not many do know. Beauty in foliage and flower Scarlet trumpets entwined with blue-green A picture of beauty and light is declared Buds opening; yellow and orange areseen. Birds of a palette of color and hue Bright species of parrot and pelican, Singing heart songs they were born for… Flamingo, canaries and GreatToucan. The heart of the jungle is beating Gives preciouslife to the earth The artery of life keeping safely, The world in its interest from birth. IlaMae (Ike) Stucki (c) 1/2012

I am a Registered Nurse.. I have loved writing for as far back as I can remember. My first writing was experienced by drawing as a child. In 7th grade I wrote a poem about Abraham Lincoln that won an award and was read on the radio in Salt Lake City....
