The Love I Never Had

07 Nov 2014

Wasting away Crouched over in the dark Taken in by a love Undone by a love A love I never had Far too difficult to comprehend It was all just pretend You came disguised as love Concealing your true design, my love Leaving traces of your poison, instead This state of mind is crippling Boundless, tears are trickling Compensations from a counterfeit love I lay here Crouched over in the dark Suffering the repercussions for Desperately Foolishly Seeking That fairytale love Now I’m here wasting away Mourning the loss Of the person that once believed in love A love I never had
