the love of a pet
I look at the Prints on the newly washed cars And I see you at night Sleeping under the stars This tiny body which conceals a huge heart And to this small family you play a huge part Remember: The night you were hit it filled me with fear I just hung my head and cried bitter tears Now be satisfied with eight lives because one has been used It lies in the road still, beaten and bruised
