The Man of my Dreams - 2002
He walks the dog, makes the queen-size bed Folds the clothes, not a bad thought in his head Always helping, with the little things Never complains, when asked favoring Prepares a dinner, for an evening of romance Later a backrub, maybe even a slow dance Romantic, caring, kind and sweet This man in my dreams, I’d love to meet But the man I have, much different you see Doesn’t give a shit, or a damn for me Does his own thing, hates to help out Favors and little things? Only make him shout Dinner, romance? What the hell for! Complains why should I, and walks out the door I don’t think I can take much more, of his inconsiderate ways But still inside I love him, but maybe I’ll leave one of these days
