The Man with the Window Eyes
He walks the streets His eyes like grimy windows Looking out from the apartment of his mind Through his window eyes He sees the poets of the streets Telling their tales of the urban mind He sees women, Women who know nothing But sex, money, and alcohol He sees the revolution, The strange are taking the streets, Soon they’ll have the world All these things He can see when he looks Through his grimy window eyes
