THE NIGHT WE INVENTED LOVE

This poem is dedicated to Alisaj who inspired me by a reading of her poem. THE NIGHT WE INVENTED LOVE The night that we invented love our souls were awash in pleasures undreamed of. Each gentle sigh leading to another as our hands lay clasped in perfect surrender. And the liquid flowed freely like molten lava as our minds concocted an erotic mantra, composed of notes that played to each other, on words whispered soft both loving and tender. I bid you bide unto my will, as your love rained down, my every wishfulfilled. You bid me back, and I did reciprocate as I tasted every delicacythat you laid on my plate. The night that we invented love, while so inspired, our thoughts brewed ecstasies both primitive and wild, whileour love intertwined through all space and time as the night met the dawn locked in love sublime.
