The Old Year Made New Again
It's the old year made new again. with the tick of a secondhand it begins. Seeking rebirth and a second chance. It begs remorse, for words spoken in haste. and sends it's regrets, for things left unsaid. A new year which can be used to plan ahead, or to procrastinate further, and jump back in bed. Time is a commodity we can ill afford to squander, yet we spend all our time, in casual surrender to the forces that be. Or are they really? Or do wewill them that way? Don't worry! I'm already starting to plan ahead, for next year's 2010 when that old year becomes new again. Wordplaya, Jan 1, 2008
