The Parables

Explain to my dreams that tomorrow morning will never belong to me. Force the desires to rest at the bottom of a tired body. I refuse to cry against the parables, defy the light to take away my only shadow. The last star has disappeared somewhere. I am left with drowsiness, my dearest friend. Did you see my dream trying to break into paradise? Did you feel how much memory it takes to resurrect the overdue time? No, nothing else matters. All that's left is untamed desire, I can feel your unnecessary smile on my pillow. Let us not dance when the music is silent. Let's not cry when the next apocalypse arrives. I wish to see in the emeralds of your eyes a private penance, I strive to shine so brightly that you find your way to my heart. You have lost somewhere my favourite fear, you have lost the omnipotence you so easily admit.
