The Paradoxical Popsicle

To perceive is to deceive your own mind So perception is a deception don’t believe your eyes The connection is as simple as church and collection Feed the poor but feed the rich more These philosophies are often atrocities to your own nature like a lobotomy, open your head and be force fed a savior don’t compromise yourself for the sake of others and don’t submit But be willing and caring to do so on top of it Trust in man-kind but know that man can often be unkind Often look over your shoulder but find time to unwind don’t take this too literal but don’t find it whimsical In an ocean of chaos things often seem mechanical so how can we channel our one true animal The question is the answer and the answer is the question Our intention may not have been for pretension Instinct was provided but has collided With how things have changed and evolution coincided We hurry through life at a fast pace And feel that one day it will all fall into place But time does not stop Cliché metaphors like the ticking of a clock If time is a perception, than time is merely a deception Nothing is moving forward nor standing still Its simply changing and vibrating And since birth all we have is will And think that we have much time to kill Now as it was since it has been and always will be Never ending never beginning it is infinity Only transmuting and morphing to land from sea And only beyond like a tadpole spawned from a pond Growing its legs to walk on the ground To hell with limitations never be bound The will to do is to step beyond the fear of self And me, well I’d rather not sit on a shelf And get bought by others thoughts We exist so that we cannot exist Black and white, yin and yang They are both one in the same Death breeds life and the other way around We end up in the very ground from whence we were found To become one again with the source Call it what you will; maybe god of course It’s the common word for such a thing that cannot be described I know its been said but just open your mind You may be surprised with what you may find
