The Patterns Curse
You don’t know what it’s like to truly see, After a lifetime of embracing my “differences” I can close my eyes and see the eleven dimensions In all there majesty, I see the patterns Set on a universal scale like no other But it comes with a curse! I see the wave of cyclic humanity, oscillating in history, Patterns of chemical evolution making their way Through our choices, driving our needs and desires, Reverberating through warlord to city to nation To empire, from conception to construction to establishment To complacency to rivalry to falter to downfall to destruction, Through civilization to civilization over more thousands Of years than humans can believe we have existed! I see the repetitive growth, harnessing, possessiveness toward, And suppression of knowledge, never evolving out of the cycle, How it is corrupted by greed, constrained by the ambitious, And suppressed by the ignorant who cannot understand. Please my friends, both real and hoped for by the last Vestiges of sanity clinging by a single finger To the broken ledge which my mind has become, Forgive me! for I have failed, Exhaustion has come for me While my mind can see the patterns And my soul desires to use them to help everyone I failed to accomplish more than a few Rambling words typed and floating through cyberspace, And the stress of it has broken my body, This art does not just imitate life, it is my life! For next week I set in motion events which will Undoubtedly destroy the mind which is Gary Vetro In hope of saving the flesh which provides The green papery ambrosia so desperately needed To put food on the table and medicine in the cupboard, I beg you, please, someone, pick up the baton I so gently lay upon the path Don’t let it be to late, and if you have questions You need only ask and I will give you everything I have, Just please ask before the last of my mind is destroyed By the patterns curse

Mental Journey
I am on a journey of the mind. Contemplating the universe on every scale, and doing a complete introspective exploration. I may never be a literary academic, but I share my humble thoughts in hope that they may inspire others.
