The Platform to Solace
This is the first draft, any ideas for revision welcome. As heavy as my mind is, I should have countless Poetic gems come forth About the beauty of wallowing In metaphorical metric misery So as to receive accolades And another entry in my Forthcoming book yet unpublished. But my sorrow tires me And the hand groans in movement Writing this piece that I know promised solace But brought me instead To the platform I was before.
